This Site provides property compliance and certification services, including but not limited to: Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Gas Safety Certificates (CP12), Portable Electronic Testing (PAT), and Floor Plans.
Services are offered across the United Kingdom excluding the Scottish Isles and Northern Ireland.
All content on or made available through our Site is the property of First Certify Limited and its licensors. This includes images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files, and any element that contributes to the composition of the Site. No part of the Site may be copied, reproduced, adapted, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
The minimum age to use our Site is 18 years. By using this Site you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We accept no responsibility for false statements regarding age.
By using our Site you agree not to: Harass, abuse, or mistreat other users; Violate the rights of other users or third parties; Infringe intellectual property rights; Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts; Engage in fraudulent activity; or Post obscene or offensive material.
If we reasonably believe you are infringing these Terms or using the Site unlawfully we may suspend or terminate your access and pursue any legal remedies available to us.
When creating an account you agree that you are responsible for keeping your account details secure and up-to-date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account used in breach of these Terms or in an unlawful manner.
The services offered on this Site include EPCs, EICRs, and Gas Safety inspections. All services must be paid for in full at the time of booking via our website. The price paid by the client is a fixed fee inclusive of our facilitation, booking management, and platform service costs.
Any claims for damages should be made to the insurers of the assessor or engineer. Any questions or queries regarding the content or accuracy of these reports should be directed to the contractor who performed the service. First Certify acts only as a facilitator for the booking and does not assume responsibility for the content of reports nor any damages.
By booking services with us, you consent to your personal and property information being shared with these contractors strictly for the purpose of carrying out the service. All contractors are required to comply with applicable data protection laws.
Payment for all services is taken directly on our website at the time of booking. Accepted methods include: Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Klarna (subject to Klarna’s terms and privacy policy), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
By providing payment details you authorise First Certify Limited and our payment processors to charge your chosen payment method. We may cancel or reverse transactions if a payment breaches the law or these Terms.
Free cancellation or rescheduling is available up to 7 days prior to the start of your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule within the 7 days, the full booking charges may apply.
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Except where prohibited by law, First Certify Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or our facilitated services. This includes any private arrangements or remedial repairs made between the client and an attending contractor.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
