Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These terms of service apply to the use of the First Certify website (firstcertify.co.uk) and the booking of property certification services through our platform. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

First Certify acts as a booking platform connecting customers with accredited assessors and engineers for EPC, gas safety, EICR, PAT testing, boiler servicing and floor plans. All assessments are carried out by qualified, accredited professionals.

3. Bookings and Payment

When you book a service, you will receive a confirmation email with your appointment details. Payment is taken securely online at the time of booking. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before the appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee. If we need to cancel an appointment, we will offer an alternative slot or a full refund.

5. Certificates and Reports

Certificates and reports are typically delivered within 72 working hours of the assessment, with the majority sent within 24 to 48 working hours. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party accreditation bodies or the national register.

6. Liability

First Certify facilitates bookings between customers and assessors. We are not responsible for the outcome of any assessment or inspection. Our liability is limited to the cost of the booking.
